,,The kayaking in Connemara was absolutely lovely. Eva was a really great, professional guide and we so enjoyed our time with her. The lake for the most part is really shallow and we had no trouble. We lucked out with the weather so it was a beautiful day and Eva took some pictures for us. The kayaking equipment is of high quality. We went through the little channels to a larger lake and stopped at a small island to stretch our legs. We kayaked for a total of 3 hours fully, but this is definitely beginner-friendly as we did take breaks to just float and talk. The scenery all around was beautiful and tranquil. The lake is surrounded by farmers that have sheep and donkeys. There is also one traditional Irish cottage with a straw roof. Eva was very communicative, easy-going, and personable. She also offers a lunch after that was vegan-friendly and delicious! I would recommend anyone traveling to Galway or this part of Ireland to book with her. It’s very easy to get to from Galway if driving, just a 40-minute drive on one main road. I hope if I find myself in Galway again in the future to kayak again with Connemara Escape and Eva.”
